Talk to us about how we can best support you!This vacancy is within the SAP Platform team, in the Reporting Domain, providing the SAP functionalities to support our store and head office colleagues. What's the job?:
  • Understanding complex requirements and from this identify SAP impacts and required system changes to drive business change.
  • Complete analysis, design, build & configuration and unit test of new reporting solutions and enhancements using SAP BW, Business Objects and HANA Views.
  • Support the transition to modern SAP analytics platforms such as SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud ensuring alignment with SAP long-term strategy.
  • Working collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to deliver SAP changes e.g. SAP, QE team, application support team, integration team, other SAP functional teams.
  • Provide 3rd line support to the BI Application Support Team.
  • Contribute to implementation and cutover planning and take ownership of cutover and implementation tasks.
  • Defect resolution during the test and warranty support phases of projects.
  • Undertake activities to handover knowledge to application services and third parties to enable ongoing support and future development of solution.
What you'll bring:
  • Great experience with SAP Reporting tools in particular Business Warehouse (BW on HANA), Business Objects Enterprise, HANA Live.
  • Experience of SAP Analytics Cloud is desirable.
  • Experience of SAP Datasphere is desirable.
  • Curious problem solver to understand how the current SAP configuration works and to analyse SAP system impacts to arrive at a solution to meet requirements.
  • Questioning mindset to dig deeper into the requirements and to understand the real problem trying to be solved to translate into clear functional requirement.
  • Understanding of Retail business processes and datasources is desirable.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, understand 'what good looks like’, and capable of multi-tasking.
