Adult Critical Care UnitBand 5 Staff Nurse in Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU)We are excited to invite applications for the Band 5 Staff Nurse post to join our world-class Adult Cardiac Critical Care Unit (ACCU) at St Bartholomew's Hospital Heart Centre. This is a unique opportunity to rotate across three critical care units, each caring for a diverse range of patients, including:
  • Post-operative cardiothoracic and thoracic patients
  • Heart Attack Centre patients
  • Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) patients
  • Vascular patients
  • Cancer patients

We also support nurse-led research, fully backed by our Director of Research and Development.This role will involve shift patterns of long days, nights and bank holidays to meet the service requirements of the ACCU.Main duties of the jobAssess, plan, provide, and evaluate skilled evidence-based care for critically ill patients (L2 & L3).
