This is a highly rewarding opportunity to work with students who benefit from a personalised and flexible teaching approach.About the RoleYou will work outside the traditional classroom setting, delivering one-to-one or small group sessions in learners’ homes or local educational environments. Your support will help learners re-engage with education, build confidence, and make meaningful academic progress.Lessons are carefully planned to meet the needs of each student, often involving close collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality, tailored tuition to learners with a range of SEND and/or SEMH needsAdapt teaching approaches to suit individual learning styles, abilities, and support plansUse creative and flexible methods to overcome learning barriersProvide clear, constructive written feedback after each sessionTravel to student locations in and around HucknallMaintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection at all timesWhat We’re Looking ForQualified teacher with experience working with SEND and/or SEMH learnersStrong understanding of individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCPsPatient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teachingConfident in delivering engaging lessons in non-traditional settingsUp-to-date safeguarding trainingEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We OfferFlexible working hours to fit around your availabilityCompetitive hourly rates: £25 to £30The opportunity to make a real impact on learners' livesProfessional support from the TP Tutors teamA rewarding and meaningful teaching role outside the mainstream classroomApply NowIf you're an experienced SEN teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting learners with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
