This is a permanent opportunity within the thrilling world of Formula 1, ideal for those passionate about innovation and achieving excellence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing F1 car composite parts, covering layout installations to patterns, moulds, tools, and jigs
  • Enhancing development processes for more efficient design
  • Mentoring less experienced designers
  • Creating and maintaining detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and analysis reports
  • Collaborating with departments to ensure reliability and performance of designed parts
  • Staying up-to-date with latest technical developments in composite materials
  • Contributing ideas for performance improvements and identifying potential issues
  • Ensuring proactive and effective communication with various teams
Job Requirements:
  • Proven experience in composite design, preferably in the automotive or motorsports industry
  • Expertise in composite manufacturing techniques using pre-preg technology
  • Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Siemens NX
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
  • Capability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines
  • Ownership of assigned projects
