- Tasked with embedding various techniques and principles, ensuring standardization and harmonization of FSSC process across all stakeholders, improving efficiency and developing continuous improvement competencies within the FSSC teams
- work closely with the Global Finance teams including Global Transformation team and liaise with local Operational Excellence resource within the Wrexham (manufacturing)teams to ensure compliance with best practice and utilization of onsite learning and training resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and improve existing business processes.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance operational efficiency and non-value add activities.
- Work with functional heads to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of process enhancements
- Along with the onsite resources and facilitators, organize training sessions for FSSC staff on operational excellence methodologies and tools
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and proactive problem-solving
- Implement and monitor initiatives that promote employee engagement in operational excellence activities.
- Lead small to medium-sized improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals
- Previous experience working in a Shared Service Centre environment, preferably within a global matrix organisation
- Working knowledge and proficient in the use of SAP/S4 ERP
- Ideally possess an accounting background which in-turn leads to an appreciation of the operational processes within a Finance org.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software.
- Project management experience is a plus
