Job DescriptionPrivate Client Solicitor (Head of Department) 5+ Years PQE, West Midlands, up to £55,000 (DOE). Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a driven legal professional to lead and grow this Private Client Department, working with a varied and high-net-worth client base while shaping the future of our private client services. JOB REF: 0975.
  • Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 5 Years PQE
  • As Head of Private Client, you'll manage a broad and often complex caseload
  • Your caseload will include Wills and Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Estate Planning and Inheritance Tax advice
  • You'll be responsible for progressing files efficiently, maintaining full compliance with all regulatory requirements, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Proven experience handling complex private client matters, especially for high-net-worth individuals
  • A strong record in managing fee earners or support staff, setting departmental targets, and overseeing performance
  • A passion for leadership and mentoring - ready to shape the strategic direction of the department
  • Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills
