The role is all about connection—supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them feel safe, seen, and ready to learn.What you’ll be doing:Providing 1:1 support to pupils with ASD and communication needsCreating a positive and structured learning environmentWorking closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapistsUsing your instincts (and patience!) to help students feel secureHelping pupils develop both academically and emotionallyWhat we’re looking for:Experience working with children or young people with SENDA calm, supportive approach (even when things get wobbly)A team player who’s confident using their initiativeA passion for making learning inclusive and accessibleBonus points if you’re Thrive trained – but if not, don’t worry!
