This is a rare opportunity to step into a pure controllership role where you'll have complete autonomy over all financial operations.The RoleAs Financial Controller, you'll be the operational heartbeat of the finance function, working alongside the FD to drive financial excellence across the business. This isn't just another finance role - it's your chance to truly control and shape every aspect of financial reporting and compliance.Your responsibilities will include:
  • Complete ownership of statutory accounts, financial accounts, and year-end processes
  • Leading audit relationships and ensuring seamless compliance
  • Delivering comprehensive management accounts and financial analysis
  • Managing and developing a team of 8 direct reports
  • Running day-to-day finance operations with full autonomy
  • Supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial reporting
What We're Looking For
  • Technically strong finance professional with proven controllership experience
  • Exceptional people management skills with experience leading sizeable teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of statutory reporting, audit processes, and financial controls
  • Manufacturing sector experience highly advantageous
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively alongside senior leadership
