SUPPORT WORKER (RECOVERY)Recovery Lighthouse, Worthing£12.21 per hourShifts are from 7:00am to 8:00pm or 9:00am to 10:00pm, on a rotating basis of 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the following week, with alternating weekends (one on, one off).Are you someone who naturally brings calm, compassion, and reassurance to others? Your daily Role in Recovery:
  • Be a friendly and encouraging presence for clients throughout the day
  • Assist with care planning, recovery goals, and maintaining routine
  • Help clients prepare for and attend key appointments
  • Monitor wellbeing, promote healthy daily living, and provide emotional support
  • Prompt medication and carry out accurate record-keeping
  • Ensure clients are engaging in meaningful therapeutic and social activities
  • Support the team with daily operations, practical tasks, and service delivery
  • Contribute to risk assessments and safeguarding processes
What We're Looking For:
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Calm under pressure, especially during challenging situations
  • A natural listener with a compassionate, non-judgemental approach
  • Competent with IT tasks (Google, Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience in support, care, or recovery settings is desirable – but heart and attitude are just as important
