This Teaching Assistant role begins in September and runs for the full academic year on a fixed-term, part-time basis.This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone looking to work afternoons only - supporting a lovely Year 2 class that includes several children with SEN needs. You'll work closely with a skilled team of teachers and assistants who value a nurturing and team-based approach to education.This Teaching Assistant role offers:

- Use appropriate strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Contribute to a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
- Assist with group activities and learning tasks in your Teaching Assistant role
- Offer feedback and observations to support pupil development
- Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures as a Teaching Assistant
- Be a warm and consistent presence in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant
- Has experience supporting children with additional needs in Key Stage 1
- Is confident working part-time afternoons in a structured primary setting
- Can bring calm, positivity, and patience to their Teaching Assistant practice
- Wants to make a difference in a part-time, meaningful way
