Location: SK7, Bramhall, Stockport
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM (Afternoons only)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour (PAYE or umbrella)

This Teaching Assistant role begins in September and runs for the full academic year on a fixed-term, part-time basis.This Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for someone looking to work afternoons only - supporting a lovely Year 2 class that includes several children with SEN needs. You'll work closely with a skilled team of teachers and assistants who value a nurturing and team-based approach to education.This Teaching Assistant role offers:

Key responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide SEN support in class as a proactive Teaching Assistant
  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider staff
  • Support pupils with needs such as ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and communication barriers
  • Promote engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion as a Teaching Assistant
  • Use appropriate strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Contribute to a calm, safe, and structured learning environment
  • Assist with group activities and learning tasks in your Teaching Assistant role
  • Offer feedback and observations to support pupil development
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be a warm and consistent presence in the classroom as a Teaching Assistant
