D365 Technical Pre-Sales Consultant – D365, Dynamics 365, D365 F&O, F&O, FO, Finance & operations, Finance and operations, finance&operations, Microsoft dynamics 365, Pre-Sales, PreSales, pre sales, technical, developer, technical consultant, Project Operations, Project Ops, Project accounting, Project accountant, ProjectOps, solution architect, technical architect – £75,000per annum+ 20% commission and packageAs a D365 Technical Pre-Sales Consultant you will be responsible for defining, articulating, and presenting the business processes specific to each industry we serve, ensuring alignment between client needs and our solution capabilities. You will lead technical discovery sessions, craft solution demonstrations, and support proposal development—all while operating in a remote-first environment.Key Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architect role within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of Project Operations Lite, Resource Non-Stocked, and related modules such as D365 Finance and Project Management & Accounting.
  • Experience showcasing the full Microsoft stack, including:
  • Power Platform (especially Power BI and Power Apps)
  • Microsoft 365
  • Dataverse
  • Copilot and AI-assisted productivity tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Sales teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Project Operations, Finance, or related modules.
  • Experience with ERP systems in project-based industries.
  • Background in Engineering, Construction, or Field Services is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, with deep expertise in D365 Project Operations Lite and Resource Non-Stocked scenarios.
  • Deliver tailored demos, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts that align with customer needs.
  • Define and present business processes relevant to each target industry, ensuring solution fit and clarity.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft field sellers to align on account strategy and jointly drive opportunities.
  • Support RFP responses, solution design documentation, and technical validation efforts.
  • Stay current on Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 roadmap and industry trends.
  • Support remote engagements with occasional travel as needed.
