
Facilities Manager - Ayrshire

- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of site facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and presentable at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure timely completion.
- Respond quickly and effectively to facility-related issues reported by staff at all levels and achieve and/or exceed service level agreement response times.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality project work is delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives / monitoring tools to enhance site efficiency, safety, and presentation. Develop SLAs & KPIs for Facilities service provision.
- Manage facilities budgets, including cost control and reporting.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and statutory compliance activities.
- Support business continuity plans and emergency response procedures.
- Assume ownership of site facilities systems
- Proven experience in facilities management, maintenance supervision, or a related role.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience managing contractors and service agreements.
- Budget management experience is desirable.
- Relevant technical or trade qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH, engineering, building maintenance) preferred.
