Head of Credit Risk Audit

• Responsible for developing and subsequently overseeing the delivery of the audit plan.
• Developing effective and influential relationships with senior Risk stakeholders.
• Line management responsibility for a significant team including, coaching, motivating, training and development.
• Play a part in department wide initiatives as part of wider audit leadership team.
• Conducting the risk assessment for the areas of coverage and updating of the audit universe.
• Maintaining relationships through continuous monitoring.
• Attendance at relevant forums and committees.

• Currently operating at Director level (or equivalent) in a major investment or corporate bank.
• Significant experience of leading audits of corporate and/or counterparty credit risk.
• Ideally some audit exposure to some of; market, model, liquidity and/or operational risk.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Line management responsibility for a team and able to demonstrate coaching, mentoring and team development skills.
