We are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to support the successful delivery of a clean water infrastructure project in Bexleyheath. The position will have a strong focus on trunk mains installation and pipelaying operations, ensuring works are delivered to the required quality, safety, and programme standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and management of site activities, with particular emphasis on trunk main installation and pipelaying.Ensure all works are delivered in full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards.Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.Maintain effective liaison with the client, project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of requirements and smooth delivery.Monitor and report on progress against programme and budget, identifying and mitigating potential risks or delays.Oversee the preparation and implementation of RAMS, permits, and site documentation.Ensure compliance with design specifications and technical standards, coordinating with temporary works and design teams as required.Maintain accurate records, including site diaries, progress reports, and commercial documentation.Candidate RequirementsSignificant experience in a Site Manager / Site Agent capacity within the water or civil engineering sector, specifically on clean water or pipeline projects.Strong technical understanding of pipelaying methodologies, trunk main construction, and associated civil engineering works.Demonstrable track record of managing site teams and subcontractors on major infrastructure schemes.SMSTS (or equivalent) and CSCS certification (essential).First Aid and Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator qualifications (desirable).Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Contract InformationDaily Rate: £450-£500 (Inside IR35)Duration: 12-month rolling contract with potential for extensionShare JobYour ConsultantOwen DawsonAssociate ConsultantFull nameEmail addressMessageUpload CVUpload your CV/resume or any other relevant file.
