SEN Teacher - Empower Young Learners in HarrogateLocation: Harrogate and surrounding areas (case dependent)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Hours: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm (flexible working available)
Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (PAYE - case dependent)

We are seeking committed SEN Teachers to work closely with children and young people who require tailored academic and emotional support. This role is ideal for professionals who want to make a lasting impact through personalised, one-to-one teaching.What You'll Be DoingCreating Safe, Supportive Spaces: Build trust and consistency to help students feel secure and ready to learn.Delivering Bespoke Education: Plan and implement individualised learning strategies that reflect each student's strengths and challenges.Collaborating with Families: Work closely with parents and carers to ensure continuity of support beyond the classroom.Fostering Growth and Confidence: Use creative, empathetic teaching to build resilience, self-esteem, and academic success.Leading by Example: Promote positive behaviours and values that encourage lifelong learning and personal development.What You'll BringQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE)At least two years of teaching experienceStrong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science (UK curriculum)Experience across Key Stages 1 to 4Excellent English skills and a background in SEN educationEnhanced DBS on the Update ServiceLegal right to work in the UKA thorough understanding of safeguarding responsibilitiesWhy Join Sugarman Health and Wellbeing - Children's Services?At Sugarman, we are driven by a mission to support young people facing significant challenges.
