We are looking for a dedicated and engaging individual to be the welcoming face of our attraction, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors.The Role:We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Security Officer who will also serve as a Concierge. This dual role is crucial in setting the tone for a positive visitor experience from the moment they arrive. You will be the first point of contact, offering a warm welcome and providing essential information, while simultaneously upholding the highest standards of security for our premises, staff, and guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service Excellence: Provide a welcoming and helpful first impression for all visitors, assisting with inquiries, directions, and general information to enhance their experience.Access Control: Efficiently manage access points, verifying passes, tickets, and credentials for all entrants to the attraction.Security Operations: Maintain overall security of the building, ensuring the safety of customers, clients, and staff through vigilant monitoring and proactive measures.Health & Safety Support: Assist with routine health and safety checks, including fire alarm testing, and contribute to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.Incident Reporting: Accurately report any security incidents, safety concerns, or unusual occurrences.Client Collaboration: Work closely with our client to ensure seamless service delivery and a consistently high-quality visitor experience.Emergency Response: Be prepared to assist in emergency situations, following established protocols to ensure the safety and swift evacuation of individuals if necessary.Ideal Candidate Will Possess:Proven experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.An understanding of security protocols and access control procedures.Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to service excellence.Knowledge of Belfast's history and tourist offerings is a plus.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by the attraction's operating hours.You will just need to complete the following application form and one of our Recruiters will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
