The college provides tailored education for young people aged 16-25 with a wide range of needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and complex learning difficulties.This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team that empowers students to develop confidence, independence, and key life skills alongside their academic studies.Your Role Will InvolveProviding individual and small group support to help students engage with lessonsEncouraging independence both in learning and in day-to-day routinesAssisting with adapted learning activities to ensure inclusivity and engagementSupporting students in building communication, social, and emotional skillsWorking alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver joined-up careWhat We're Looking ForExperience supporting young people with additional needs is desirable (post-16 experience a bonus, but not essential)A caring, flexible, and proactive approach to learning supportConfidence in promoting positive behaviour and building strong relationshipsCommitment to encouraging independence and resilience in learnersA Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is welcome but not requiredWhat You'll GainCompetitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE - no umbrella deductionsAccess to ongoing training and development tailored to SENA supportive consultant who will guide you throughout your placementOpportunities to explore long-term and permanent roles within SEN settingsApply Today
