- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area
- Demonstrable experience in educational technology or digital pedagogy
- Expertise in designing and delivering engaging digital learning experiences, particularly in creative or music-based disciplines.
- Deep understanding of VLE platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas) and digital tools (e.g., H5P, Padlet, Miro, etc.).
- Ability to support diverse learning styles and promote inclusive digital education.
- Confident communicator with the ability to train, coach, and mentor colleagues across a range of digital proficiencies.
- Strong collaborative and project management skills.
- Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of digital learning resources using data and learner feedback.
- Higher-level qualification in music, music education, or related field
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Fellowship (or higher) of Advance HE
- Awareness of current pedagogical theories including experiential, flipped, and blended learning models.
- Awareness of the specific needs and challenges of music students in digital and blended learning environments.
