- Maintain, repair, and install manufacturing production equipment, supporting both electrical and some mechanical needs
- Quickly respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
- Diagnose and repair faults on PLC and electronically controlled equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety, HACCP, and hygiene requirements
- Follow a detailed, methodical approach to fault finding and repair
- Provide onsite support for continuous improvement projects
- Communicate any delays or issues clearly to relevant parties
- Understanding of PLC and electronic controlled equipment with experience diagnosing faults
- Qualification to the latest IEE wiring regulations desirable but not essential
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to keep factory running smoothly
- Strong understanding of food hygiene standards
- Team player, willing to support others through busy periods
- Full driving licence
