Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that is adapted to a range of special educational needs.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being and progress.
  • Implementing and monitoring Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) effectively.
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Fostering a classroom culture that promotes respect, independence, and a love for learning.
The Ideal Candidate: Who You Are
  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Child DBS on the update service
  • You have a proven track record of teaching in a special educational needs setting.
  • You are adaptable, and possess a strong sense of empathy.
  • You are a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
  • You are committed to ongoing professional development and are enthusiastic about learning new strategies.
