In this role, you will provide essential technical support to the animal management department, assisting lecturers and students in practical sessions and ensuring the welfare and safety of animals within the college's facilities.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animal care and education to contribute to the success of the college's animal management programmes.   • Relevant qualification or experience in animal care, animal management, veterinary nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a variety of animal species in a professional or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of animal welfare legislation, health and safety regulations, and best practices in animal husbandry and handling.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of animal care, welfare, and ethical conduct.
  • Minimum Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
