We are looking for a skilled Practice Manager to join out Prison Dental Service.The Dental Service delivers a broad range of services commissioned by NHSEI which deliver against the Special Care & Paediatric (SC&P) dental care pathways and is also subcontracted in multiple HMP sites.Oral health and epidemiology programmes are commissioned by local authorities who have accepted devolved authority to commission these themselves, the local authority contracts directly with the CDSDental Service.Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for practice management of assigned prison and secure school across a geographic area, ensuring contracted activity and KPIs are achieved. Act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practices to ensure the delivery of high quality, patient focused services.Practice Managers will be accountable for the performance of their assigned clinics, however there is an expectation that Practice Managers will work collaboratively as a team to prioritise, plan and share staff and physical resources across all clinic sites to support the overarching goals of the Operational Lead.Contribute to wider programmes of work as delegated by the Operational Manager and Operational Lead, sharing best practice across teams, this may involve representing the Dental Service at corporate meetings and/or working groups and service specific project groups.About usRated 'outstanding' by the CQC, we've got a passion for delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve the health of our communities.
