- Educated to Degree level or equivalent theoretical knowledge and expertise within specialism gained through NHS experience e.g. practice management, operational management
- GDC Registration
- Post graduate diploma in management
- Experience of managing clinical teams
- Experience of working in HMP environments with in depth knowledge of the regimes and structures
- Experience within NHS dentistry
- Experience of using dental applications to generate reports
- Understanding of and commitment to upholding clinical standards
- Thorough understanding of how to achieve delivery of high quality, patient focused care
- Ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve highest standards of excellence in working practices and delivery of patient services
- Business acumen & awareness of budgetary management
- Report writing skills
- Good level of IT skills
- Able to motivate and lead people through staff involvement and development
- Strong negotiation skills with the capacity for exercising influence, ability to manage conflict and build strong working relations
- Ability to set objective measurements, manage performance, develop and monitor systems of organising work and information Task and outcome focused
