Our Portsmouth-based team is known for reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to keeping workplaces safe and efficient.This role exists to ensure the continuous operation and upkeep of building fabric within a busy commercial complex-supporting tenant satisfaction and maintaining high standards across all landlord-managed areas.Responsibilities:As a Multi Skilled or Fabric Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of building fabric maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and patch repairs. You'll support the upkeep of landlord areas within a large commercial office complex, ensuring all services remain operational for tenants. The role involves hands-on work, regular client updates, and accurate digital record-keeping of inspections, remedial works, and service logs.Requirements:
  • Experience in building fabric maintenance, including tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, and patch repairs.
  • Basic electrical and/or plumbing knowledge, ideally gained within the building services or facilities management sector.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and performing manual handling tasks.
  • Strong communication and IT skills, with the ability to update clients and accurately log tasks and inspections digitally.
  • Background in a trade or facilities management, with either formal qualifications or demonstrable hands-on experience.
