Salary: Competitive + Company Car/Allowance + BenefitsWe are working with a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and groundworks projects across Scotland. Known for their quality-driven approach and strong reputation in the market, they're seeking a Site Engineer to join their growing team.The Role:
You'll support the delivery of key civil infrastructure projects including earthworks, road construction, reinforced concrete structures, and drainage works. Working closely with the Site and Project Management teams, you'll be involved in all aspects of engineering from setting out to quality assurance and site coordination.Key Responsibilities:Setting out, surveying, and managing technical aspects on-sitePrepare and manage key project documents - RAMS, ITPs, WPPs, permits, etc.Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standardsAssist with subcontractor management and progress trackingLiaise with stakeholders and attend pre-start and progress meetingsMaintain accurate project records and support cost controlRequirements:HNC/HND or degree in Civil EngineeringSolid setting out and site engineering experienceWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeValid CSCS card and full driving licenceSMSTS preferred but not essentialWillingness to travel and work shifts/weekends where requiredThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking civil engineering contractor that invests in its people and delivers meaningful infrastructure across Scotland.Please feel free to pass along your CV - someone from the team will be in touch.James Gray Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
