MPA Recruitment is currently seeking Support Workers to join our growing team in the Derry/Londonderry area. This role is based in a Supported Living Setting, providing meaningful, person-centred care and support to residents in a homely environment.This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate, dedicated individuals who want to make a real difference in the lives of others.About the RoleAs a Support Worker, you will work as part of a caring and committed team to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents. You will assist with daily routines, personal care, and offer emotional and social support tailored to individual needs.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality personal care and support in line with individual care plans
  • Support residents during meal times and accurately record food and fluid intake
  • Encourage and promote independence where appropriate
  • Assist with mobility and physical support as needed
  • Carry out light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean environment
  • Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with residents
  • Ensure residents feel comfortable, respected, and supported at all times
Essential Criteria
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a similar care/support role
  • NISCC registration or willingness to register upon offer
  • Willingness to undertake training courses relevant to the role
  • Ability to complete an enhanced Access NI check
Desirable Criteria
  • Health and Social Care qualification (e.g., Level 2 or above)
