DescriptionScience teacher - SunderlandVeritas Education are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Sunderland who are looking for a highly motivated Science teacher available from September 2025.The role will be a full-time, long-term temporary position. The successful candidate will be competent delivering Science at KS3 and KS4, be able to manage behaviour/follow the school's behavioural policy and create engaging and inspiring lessons for students of mixed ability.Requirements for the successful candidate: * Previous experience teaching Science at secondary level

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Able to plan, deliver and adapt engaging Science lessons for KS3/4 students
Ability to support children in the classroom with varied ability
Confident in behaviour management and managing student relations

You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships.
