You will play a pivotal part in building and maintaining a robust, secure and scalable web platform.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact company and help shape the future of a fast-paced digital product.ResponsibilitiesLead the redevelopment and ongoing maintenance of our platform using LaravelCollaborate with the in-house team to implement secure, optimised code for customer-facing and internal featuresBuild out scalable systems to support large volumes of traffic and competition entriesWork on frontend components using Livewire, Tailwind, and FilamentPHPIntegrate and manage payment systems, entry logic and instant-win mechanismsEnsure security best practices are followed (e.g. customer data, fraud prevention)Maintain high-quality, readable, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews, architectural decisions and system planningRequirementsRequirements5+ years' professional experience in web development, specifically working with high-traffic Laravel applicationsStrong knowledge of:PHP, Laravel, MySQLJavaScript, HTML5, CSS3Laravel LivewireTailwind CSSFilamentPHPExperience in API integrations, database optimisation, and server-side securityComfortable with Git version control and agile development practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a remote teamGood communication and problem-solving skillsDesirablePrior experience working on online competition, prize draw, or e-commerce websitesUnderstanding of competition compliance, spend caps, and fair play enforcementExperience with Laravel-based admin tools or CMS alternatives
