We enhance the efficiency of assets, ensuring a high level of availability and reducing maintenance costs.We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.This commitment is delivered by an experienced and highly competent workforce of over 4,500 employees operating from 14 offices in strategic industrial hubs, upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance and quality.Key Activities: What should the role holder do to achieve the business goalsAs an Instrument Technician, you will be joining the existing Maintenance team, supporting plant operations ensuring a high level of pant availability through reactive, repairs and carry out preventative maintenance program. The site has a diverse range of Ex rated equipment, which provides a large variety of work. Duties included within this role, but not limited to the following:
  • Respond to plant breakdowns as required to identify and resolve faults on instrumentation equipment.
  • Carry out routine PMs and Calibrations on plant equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner and all information is recorded.
  • Conduct must be kept in line site safety procedures at all time.

  • Experience of work within the Pharmaceutical, Process, Oil & Gas, Plant or Power Generation industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a Maintenance role.
  • Proactive and flexible work approach.
Preferred
  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Extensive (10+ years) experience of site E&I activities in Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • HNC Instrumentation and Controls.
Essential
  • Experienced in maintaining process instrumentation.
  • COMPEX 1-4.
  • Recognised Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
