Could this role be the opportunity for you to play your part?The RBA Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations and database management of the production floor to ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The role involves managing a team of production staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and achieving production targets within set deadlines.We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure efficiency, and lead a team to meet performance goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for process improvement, experience with database management and the ability to thrive in a unionised environment.If you enjoy being focused on outputs and delivery, understand quality, safety, compliance, working to key performance indicators, then this role will be a great match for you.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:Production ManagementPlan, organise, and oversee production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency.Database ManagementMaintenance schedulesEquipment Database Management & Consumables controlContinuous ImprovementImplement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.Team SupervisionAssign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on skills and workload.Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and address concerns.Quality AssuranceEnsure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective actions.Health and SafetyEnforce compliance with health and safety regulations on the production floor.Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.Resource ManagementCoordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources.Minimise waste and optimise the use of materials and equipment.Reporting and DocumentationMaintain accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and efficiency.Document and report any incidents, accidents, or equipment malfunctions.Who are we looking for?We do need you to have the following:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Experience with Database management is essentialWhilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following:Good understanding of production processes and equipment.Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using production management software and tools.Some reasons we think you’ll love it here:AWE has wide range of benefits to suit you.
