We embrace sensory enlightenment, encourage individuality and focus on enhancing quality of life, rather than just preserving it.As a Senior Care Assistant at our home, your role may involve:Undertaking any necessary training
Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities
Providing emotional support and companionship
Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities
Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve: staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, medication administration, care planning, audits, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc..Sandstone employees enjoy a range of benefits:Free uniform. A positive outlook and warm personality
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies
Able to remain calm and guide colleagues under pressure
