The role involves verifying the compliance of packaging and labeling artwork with local and regional guidelines, evaluating updates, and ensuring consistency across products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing clear feedback for accurate artwork recreation and monitoring individual workload to meet project timelines.Responsibilities:
  • Verify compliance of packaging and labeling artwork with local and regional guidelines.
  • Evaluate and interpret packaging and labeling artwork updates.
  • Initiate discussions when inconsistencies are discovered.
  • Annotate artwork using digital tools.
  • Use judgment to approve or reject packaging and labeling artwork.
  • Provide clear feedback for accurate artwork recreation.
  • Monitor individual workload to meet project timelines.
  • Provide editorial comments for regulatory documents prior to artwork creation.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in proofing pharmaceutical labeling, packaging components, or medical/scientific documents.
  • Strong editing/proofreading skills, including knowledge of medical/scientific terminology.
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus for long periods.
  • Ability to identify and mark errors in typography, spelling, word usage, style, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Ability to apply these skills across multiple languages, especially non-native language is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using mechanized and electronic proofreading tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and capability to prioritise projects, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively with frequent reading, which may cause eye strain. 20/20 color vision (corrected) is required.
