
Supply Chain Planning Manager - 9-12 month FTC

- Day to day management of our third-party warehousing partners to ensure accurate delivery, planning, assembly and distribution of all product across Europe.
- Review and analyse sales forecast and inventory data and take action to create the most optimal weekly production schedule with minimum inventory exposure.
- Assess risks and gaps within the production schedule and communicate appropriately within the Sales organisation through daily & weekly reporting
- Close liaison and working relationship with the Operations Packaging Manager and team to plan packaging production efficiently, ensuring arrival dates are in line with the timelines required for assembly and/or local requirements and product release dates.
- Provision of accurate and timely bundle forecasts for the department and/or wider business on a weekly and/or monthly basis
- Ensure that the entire supply planning process flow is well maintained to meet overall business needs, and service levels for hardware supply into SIEE managed warehouses and/or Territory and Distributor warehouses
- Efficiently manage communication to ensure all stages of the manufacturing/ assembly process are aligned, and all partners are informed and kept abreast of any issues or major changes.
- Collaborate with internal departments/collaborators to improve the overall sales planning and new product release process
- Continuously seek to create/improve upon all current processes and reporting methods by providing input and ideas and driving through change across the team as needed
- Liaise with territories to continually improve communication channels and to share ideas, information and knowledge.
- Having the ability to think ahead and identify any potential issues before they become a showstopper is a must as is being able and prepared to challenge current procedures/status quo to constantly improve performance and efficiency.
- Escalation of any critical issues and provision of updates/feedback the Senior Manager, Supply Planning and/or department management on all activity within the Supply Planning area.
- Supply Chain/Operations management experience is an absolute must, preferably within an FMCG company, and at a European level as a minimum
- Strong experience of managing a 3rd Party Logistics Provider is required; previous experience of overseeing assembly planning with a 3PL would be highly desirable and offer a clear advantage
- Knowledge and experience of managing compliance issues within an assembly environment would be advantageous
- A customer orientated, positive, can-do attitude is a fundamental requirement
- A resilient personality with a demonstrable ability to cope with and work well under pressure is vital
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and lead change when necessary
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is critical
- Ability to collate, assimilate and summarise complex data quickly
- Highly proficient communication skills; both written and verbal
- PC literate - good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP
