This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our Edinburgh Campus, including offices, laboratories, public spaces, and the historic Surgeon’s Hall Museums.About the RoleAs a Cleaner, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring allocated areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Following agreed cleaning methods and Health & Safety protocols.
Reporting maintenance issues such as broken fittings or lighting.
Assisting with additional cleaning tasks as directed.
This is a physically active role, requiring stamina and the ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in general cleaning and able to work independently.
Reliable, punctual, and professional in their approach.
Attentive to detail, with strong time management skills.
A good communicator and team player.
Experience in specialist cleaning (e.g. laboratories, heritage spaces) or with industrial cleaning equipment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.Dates of interviews will be confirmed in due course.
