Job Category: OperationsResponsibilities:Prime Location: Leicester, Meridian Business Park, Excellent Working Conditions, ParkingWorking Hours: Monday to Tuesday 2.30 pm to 12.30 am, Wednesday to Thursday 2.30 pm to 12.15 am. 15 minute paid break and half an hour unpaid break.   • Experienced in Hot Forging
  • Set and operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances
  • Supporting in the production areas in the slitting and shot blasting
  • Undertake to train on all machines to ensure 100% flexibility in the workplace
  • Uses gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications
  • Self certification of your personal work
  • Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times
  • Responsible for producing SPC charts and records
  • To actively take part in locally focused, or multi-functional continuous improvement teams
  • Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards
  • Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to
  • Work as fully flexible team member within the Company to maximise levels of production and quality
  • To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
Qualifications:
  • Previous hot forging experience preferred
  • Experience on hot press, slitter, and shot blasting required
  • Power press training preferred
