Wakefield Councils are looking to recruit into the role of Activator $ú this is a secondment opportunity working in the Activator role full time for a fixed period until 28/02/2027.This role will help support the work undertaken within the Referral Services team more specifically the Exercise on Referral scheme which is delivered across the Wakefield district, mainly based out of Wakefield Council Leisure facilities.You would be working towards the aim of providing an offer of consultation and exercise, 1-2-1 and group based, to patients who have been identified as meeting the referral criteria of the scheme. those who meet the criteria are referred in for support with their physical activity.Wakefield Council are looking for the ideal candidate to support this work, who must be able to plan and deliver all the elements of the pathway.
