- Own, develop and execute the organisation's IT and Information Security strategy, collaborating with senior stakeholders and aligning with the business goals.
- Provide expert advice to the Executive Team on emerging technologies, cyber threats, risks, and investment opportunities.
- Support and develop internal IT and InfoSec teams, creating clear structures and improved, scalable processes
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, efficiency and innovation in alignment with the Bravura values.
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations including corporate infrastructure, applications, networks, and end-user support.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and meet performance and governance expectations.
- Lead Bravura's cybersecurity program, ensuring protection of data, systems, and intellectual property.
- Oversee threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
- Establish secure architecture, access controls, and monitoring frameworks.
- In collaboration with the Procurement team, identify, select and oversee external vendors, optimising cost and delivery.
- Working with our GRC function, establish and maintain IT and information security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Lead Bravura's cybersecurity strategy to ensure data privacy and protection.
- Educate staff and promote security awareness throughout the organisation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Evaluate and implement cost-effective technology solutions to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver technology solutions that add value
- Solid proficiency in enterprise architecture, infrastructure, cloud computing, applications and cybersecurity
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop world-class technology teams.
- Commercial acumen and an ability to simplify and improve systems and processes.
- Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and execution skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience presenting to executive teams and board members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale IT modernisation projects.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk, compliance and relevant legislation across multiple geographies/ jurisdictions.
