We are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in an Adult Learning Disability team in Manchester City Council.
We are looking for experienced social workers who have worked with people who have a learning disability, have care act, mental capacity act and best interests experience. Alongside risk management and multiagency working.
We work in a busy city. Although home based working is an option the work will largely be based in the office. This is in Wythenshawe. Duty cover is 1 full week on - all of these days will need to be office based. The candidate needs to have statutory experience and experience of working with people who have a learning disability. The case allocation will be a mixture of care act assessments, support panning, capacity assessments, best interests and safeguarding.
