As a Researcher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of our shows, contribute to new formats, and learn innovative ways to make audio and digital content that connects.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
  • Collaborating with producers and presenters to shape episodes from idea to delivery
  • Generating fresh ideas for topics, treatments, and guests
  • Conducting deep-dive research and writing clear, engaging briefs
  • Supporting recordings and audio editing
  • Ensuring all content meets BBC editorial guidelines
  • Championing diversity and inclusion in everything we make
  • Bring enthusiasm and insight to the world of podcasts
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA;
  • Experience researching complex subjects, including interpreting scientific papers
  • A natural curiosity and drive to uncover compelling stories
  • Strong organisational, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
DESIRABLE CRITERIA;
  • Experience recording interviews and editing audio
  • Science degree
  • Some basic filming/camera experience for help with social media assets
