As a Researcher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of our shows, contribute to new formats, and learn innovative ways to make audio and digital content that connects.YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Collaborating with producers and presenters to shape episodes from idea to delivery
- Generating fresh ideas for topics, treatments, and guests
- Conducting deep-dive research and writing clear, engaging briefs
- Supporting recordings and audio editing
- Ensuring all content meets BBC editorial guidelines
- Championing diversity and inclusion in everything we make
- Bring enthusiasm and insight to the world of podcasts
- Experience researching complex subjects, including interpreting scientific papers
- A natural curiosity and drive to uncover compelling stories
- Strong organisational, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience recording interviews and editing audio
- Science degree
- Some basic filming/camera experience for help with social media assets
