- Own the preparation and delivery of monthly payroll data to third-party providers across multiple EMEA countries.
- Guarantee timely, correct submission of payroll payment files.
- Manage statutory payments such as sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and other entitlements.
- Oversee payroll elements of onboarding and offboarding for new joiners and leavers.
- Ensure compliance with pension auto-enrolment rules.
- Review and validate payroll outputs for accuracy and completeness working on multi-sited and cross-country payroll's - Be the go-to expert for payroll queries from across the region.
- You will be working with multiple currencies and currency conversions
- You will be assisting finance with the audit and annual tax reporting
- Partner with the Payroll Manager to introduce new processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Stay ahead of legislative changes, attending at least two technical update trainings annually.
- Support annual payroll year-end processes and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly payroll journals and accruals for EMEA entities.
- Proven UK payroll experience, with bonus points for multi-country exposure (especially Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Austria, and the Netherlands).
- Strong manual payroll calculation skills and solid knowledge of statutory requirements.
- Intermediate or higher Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables)
- A keen eye for detail, delivering accuracy under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships.
