
Forest Manager

- Deliver high-quality woodland management and forestry contracting services to a range of clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare budgets, reports, work programmes, and grant applications.
- Lead on both productive forestry operations and new woodland creation projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across forestry, business development, investment, and harvesting.
- Grow and manage a varied client portfolio.
- Ensure an excellent client experience while upholding the highest standards of forest management.
- Proven experience in forestry or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial practices and relationship management.
- Knowledge of upland conifer forest management.
- A collaborative approach, thriving in cross-functional teamwork.
- Business development experience (advantageous).
- Familiarity with the UK Forestry Standard, UKWAS, and Forestry Grant Schemes (desirable).
- Membership of a professional body such as the Institute of Chartered Foresters (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
