- Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, PMLD, and SEMH
- Delivering targeted interventions and tailored learning activities to small groups and individual students.
- Taking the lead in the classroom during planned teacher absence, providing structured and engaging cover sessions.
- Working closely with teaching staff to differentiate learning resources, monitor progress, and contribute to planning and assessment.
- Contributing to behaviour support strategies and helping to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
- HLTA status or equivalent (e.g., Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher).
- Demonstrated experience supporting children with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
- A confident, calm, and adaptable nature, with a nurturing and pupil-centred approach.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one through Academics.
