KS1 Teacher Vacancy in WiganRandstad Education is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our network of fantastic schools in the Wigan area. This full-time, long-term opportunity is a brilliant way to gain valuable experience and make a real difference to children in their crucial early years of education.We are searching for a teacher with a genuine passion for Key Stage 1, who can inspire a love of learning and create a positive, stimulating classroom environment.The Role: What You'll Be Doing
  • Planning and delivering the Year 2 national curriculum in an engaging and creative way.
  • Assessing student progress and providing meaningful, constructive feedback.
  • Maintaining excellent classroom management to ensure a productive and safe learning space.
  • Collaborating with fellow staff to uphold high standards of teaching and a supportive school culture.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school, including meetings and professional development.
What We Require
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching at Key Stage 1, specifically with the Year 2 curriculum.
  • A strong understanding of assessment and tracking frameworks.
  • The ability to build rapport with students and motivate them to achieve their best.
  • A strong commitment to child welfare and safeguarding.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
