You must live within a reasonable distance to the office or be willing to relocate by the role commencement date.Job Purpose:Working in one of our category buying teams you will assist with the administrative aspects of the buying process. The job will include ensuring accurate data is collected for the product creation process, creating products on the relevant systems, progressing orders into our distribution network, and setting up initial stock levels. You will also help to maintain supplier relationships to ensure stock is delivered on time.You will be a great administrator with a good eye for detail, well organised and able to meet commercial deadlines. You will have a natural enthusiasm for our brands and ranges with a great attitude to working within a Buying department. This is a key role in ensuring all data is accurately represented to the buying team and requires great teamwork and flexibility.Skills & Experience * Ideally, a minimum of 6 months’ administration experience or a good knowledge of our ranges.
  • Experience in a retail environment is helpful.
  • Knowledge of retail systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel.
Responsibilities:
  • To create and maintain accurate SKU-level information on the merchandising and EPOS systems. Maintaining the data as requested by the Buyers
  • To accurately raise orders for all products.
  • To action tasks to manage the open order book and ensure stock is delivered to the plan and prioritised by business need.
  • To provide accurate PO updates to support the business.
  • Develop good relationships with all the suppliers to ensure we gain access to all product information, launches, declarations, test certificates and assets.
  • To support the buying and partnership team for ad-hoc requests, information and other business priorities.
  • To help manage price changes to an agreed schedule and communicate with the Operations teams and IT to action.
