- Lead project workstreams or small/medium client engagements in technology and digital transformation engagements.
- Lead the design and implementation of technology, digital and data strategies that enhance business outcomes.
- Collaborate with client teams to align technical solutions with organisational strategies and user needs.
- Analyse client technology environments, document current-state architecture, understand and interpret user needs and produce strategic recommendations.
- Design future-state solution and enterprise architectures and IT operating models.
- Create artefacts such as technology roadmaps, options appraisals, and architecture diagrams.
- Advising on AI adoption, assessing AI readiness and defining appropriate operating models and assurance frameworks for AI development, deployment and usage
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with clients and users.
- Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop more junior consultants and contribute to internal learning. Line management of 0-2 other consultants, dependent on business need.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across design, data, and delivery.
- Input into bids and proposals with a focus on technology content.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to business development and marketing activities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of emerging trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the continual development of our technology and data practice.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, building trust with senior stakeholders.
- Strong experience in technology consulting or IT architecture roles on complex digital transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture including common enterprise IT landscapes, software engineering methods, data and cloud platforms, and experience developing future state architectures
- Proven ability to work with stakeholders at multiple levels across organisations
- Understanding of concepts and principles across information technology, enterprise architecture, software, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
- Experience defining technical and functional requirements, and guiding the prioritisation of requirements
- Experience of communicating technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience developing and reviewing architecture artefacts.
- Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, or training with business users
- Experience delivering projects in a consultancy environment
- Experience advising on the governance of IT services
- Experience designing, implementing, or evaluating strategies, with the ability to anticipate and plan for future challenges
- Experience analysing IT system capabilities, evaluating products, and engaging technology suppliers during or before procurement processes
- Experience in multiple parts of the product life cycle and understanding appropriate activities at each stage.
- Champion of user needs and user research in the context of technology strategy

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in diverse, remote, and multi-disciplinary teams
