Location of site: DHL, Meridian Business Park, 1 Meridian Street, Leicester LE19 1WYDHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business are seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Experienced flexible Class 1 Drivers to carry a mixture of products along with store drops between 2-3 per shift in general from our site in Leicester
- Deliveries are palletised and you will be provided with a pump truck
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Be prepared to work long days as we cover a number of stores across the UK
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- At least a years experience of Class 1 HGV driving .
