We have vacancies for casual Fitness Coaches to support the delivery of the group exercise classes for Wakefield Council. The classes taught would be dependant on the qualifications held and will involve working alongside leisure centre staff delivering the group fitness timetable. Currently there are over 200 classes delivered per week across various leisure centres, swimming pools, parks and community centres.Candidates must be able to deliver high quality fitness classes, have excellent customer service skills, be able to engage with a range of customers and actively promote services delivered by Wakefield Council such as the Aspire Health and Fitness membership scheme.You will need to be well organised in preparation and planning for the sessions and be able to adapt quickly and think on your feet whilst delivering to the range of people. The right attitude, a passion for health and fitness and good communications skills are essential in the role.You will need to hold the relevant professional teaching qualification in the type of class you wish to deliver for WMDC.
