This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or early career teachers (ECTs) who want to deliver engaging lessons and make a positive impact on students' learning.As a Geography Teacher, you will be instrumental in developing pupils’ geographical knowledge, curiosity, and global awareness, making a lasting impact on their education.Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages.
  • Encourage critical thinking, environmental awareness, and curiosity about the world.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, marking, and extra-curricular activities.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher role:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Recent experience teaching Geography at school level is preferred.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
  • A full, up-to-date CV with a clear employment history and explanations for any gaps in the last 10 years.
