Pay: £13.68 per hour (includes holiday pay)Academics is a teaching supply agency working closely with Primary and Secondary schools across South Wales. We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and flexible Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in the Rhoose area. This is a temporary full-time role, with working hours of 07:45 to 15:45, Monday to Friday.This role is ideal for someone confident working across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, who enjoys variety and working in a team-focused environment.Key Responsibilities:*Support Breakfast Club each morning from 07:45
*Provide in-class support to teachers across a variety of year groups
*Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils to support learning
*Help prepare classroom resources and support day-to-day classroom routines
*Supervise pupils during break and lunchtimes
*Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentMinimum Requirements:*At least 3 months' experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
*Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning - desirable)
*Ability to work flexibly across different age groups
