If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.The Imaging Department is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Community X-ray team as an Imaging Department Assistants on a full time, part time or flexible.In this vital support role, you will work alongside Radiographers and Assistant practitioners at our current sites.The community X-ray team cover 4 locations - Haywood hospital, Leek Moorlands, Longton Cottage and Cobridge Health Centre on a rotational basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work across all sites.The Community Diagnostic Centre, anticipated to open in early 2026, will also be included in the community x-ray rotation.The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient-centred care, possess excellent communication skills, and be adaptable to working across multiple locations as part of a supportive and professional team.Main duties of the jobThe duties are varied and include data input , reception duties, direct patient care, assisting Diagnostic Radiographers, maintaining stock in clinical areas and departmental cleanliness. Successful candidates would need to be highly motivated, uphold thetrusts values and promises and havegood organisational and IT skills.Applicants must have previous experience of working in a caring environment and hold 5 GCSE's at grade C/4 or above to include Maths and English.About usUniversity Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country.
