Job Title: Electrical Equipment Tester (PAT Tester)Location: BristolSalary: £28,500 basic salary (£30k to £40k OTE)Hours: Contracted 45 hours per week (overtime available)Start Date: ImmediateAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Electrical Equipment Tester (PAT Tester) to join a highly respected electrical compliance business. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation servicing a diverse portfolio of clients including well-known brands and educational institutions.Key Responsibilities
  • • Testing and inspecting electrical appliances in line with the current IET Code of Practice
  • • Recording and submitting results that meet both internal and client standards
  • • Following strict Health & Safety policies on-site at all times
  • • Representing the company professionally when engaging with clients and colleagues
  • • Staying updated with regulations and industry best practices
Essential Skills and Experience Required
  • • Competent using Seaward Apollo 500+, mobile phone, and CRM software to log and submit test results
  • • Clear verbal communication with clients and team members
  • • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • • Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated with a professional attitude
Qualifications Required
  • • City & Guilds 2377 Certification (Essential)
  • • Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)

  • • Company-provided work van and testing equipment (own hand tools required)
  • • Paid travel time – 1 hour each way included in working hours
  • • Accommodation and food allowance provided for projects requiring overnight stays
